Violence Against Women: A Men’s Issue – 4/9/09
Guests Donna Chait of the world famous Prepare Inc., Impact Self Defense Program and Ted Bunch of the ground-breaking A Call to Men Movement to discuss violence prevention for men and women.
Prepare Inc. offers inter-active self defense skills training, practiced full contact, full force, against padded, trained instructors recreating assault scenarios. A CALL TO MEN engages men in ending violence against women and eradicating sexism. The organization acknowledges that men play a primary role in this problem and therefore in the solution. A Call to Men maintains strong coalitions with anti-violence women’s organizations.
